Introduction

Hi, dear TDC Students,

We are Carla and Erika, CTJ teachers and Technology enthusiasts. We love to look for new applications of technological resources to the classroom. We're responsible for the computer labs at the Main Branch and South Lake Branch. Besides having a lot of fun with our students, we amuse ourselves with Thomas Website. We're are in charge of its content. Needless to say that we are very close friends!

How about you? Introduce yourselves telling us a little bit more about your teaching experience, your goals with the TDC course, your interests and hopes for the future.

Hey, hey.
It was, indeed, quite an informative class you presented. Those are definitly really handy tools, and I find the idea of the blog and everything else a nice way to keep in touch with the students, even though, as far as I'm concerned, I'm not so sure I'll be really teaching.
Cheers.

Hello there,
I'm Joao. Nice to meet you.
I am very interested in these kinds of things.
Good luck on the site!
I think to record in skype you can get a program called Record All or something like that. Or use Sony Soundforge. There must be a way, in one of those programs, of recording all sounds.
Hope that helps.

Take care,
Joao Henrique

Hi,Erika and Carla. I`m Lidia. I taught for about five months last year but had to stop. As I study Psychology at UnB and work at CEF for the whole morning, it is difficult for me - at least for now - to do so many things and still teach. Even so, I love English and usually have fun trying to teach. My goals in TDC: learn, learn, learn. =]
Nice to meet you, guys! =]

I`m Jeferson. I`m 45 and I`ve been teaching for a long time, but not English. I decided to take the TDC because I wanted to learn about teaching English. I don`t know if one day I`m going to perform only this activity (English teacher). I like too many different things.

Hi, Erika and Carla. I'm have been teaching for almost two years now, and I just love it. Of courese it is very demanding and it doesn't pay that well, but I couldn't be happier with my profession. Then, TDC is obviously essential to me. I learned so much already, espeacially about methodology, and I'm very eager to start teaching here. I think is going to be an amazing experience. But that just the beginning, right? Teacher development can never stop...and that is what I want: to be always the best teacher I can be.
